Rangers ace Kamara booed by Sparta fans, lawyer tweets

Glen Kamara’s lawyer has slammed Sparta Prague’s young crowd after Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara was booed throughout the Europa League showdown in the Czech Republic.

After racist chants in the game against Monaco earlier this season, UEFA banned Sparta Prague fans from attending this game against Rangers.

However, the stadium closure was used to invite 10,000 children instead.

Unfortunately, sections of the young crowd booed Kamara during the game after the Finnish midfielder was racially abused by Slavia Prague’s Ondrej Kudela last season.

Kamara’s lawyer Aamer Anwar has now tweeted about the depressing scenes in the Czech capital.

He said: “I hoped stadium closure to Sparta Prague fans for their racial abuse of Monaco’s Tchouameni and invite to 10,000 kids would mean that Kamara and all the other black players at Rangers didn’t have to face racism.

“No such luck tonight as the kids carried on the abuse – shameful.”

If it’s not the footballers and it’s not the fans, it’s the school kids.

It speaks volume about football fans in Prague that these Sparta supporters are booing a player for reporting a Slavia player’s racism. They are massive rivals yet they’re seemingly standing side by side in a united front against players who suffer racial abuse.

We cannot even come to terms with how horrifying this is.

Kamara must be feeling so low right now and we’re feeling so sorry for the talented Finland international.

Not only was he booed throughout but he was also on the receiving end of a ridiculously bad red-card decision by the referee.

Rangers won’t even be able to appeal against that but UEFA need to do something about these pathetic clubs from the Czech Republic.

All of their teams need to be banned from European competition.

In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton aimed a sly dig at the Gers ahead of the game.
