Old friends Lionel Messi and Pep Guardiola will reunite on Tuesday but as opponents.
Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain take on Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Champions League, live on talkSPORT.
Although they’re enemies for this match, there’s certainly mutual respect there.
And why wouldn’t there be? Messi and Guardiola achieved great things when working together at Barcelona.
In Guardiola’s four seasons in charge of the club he won 14 trophies which you can see a breakdown of below.
A bucket load of goals were also scored by Messi and Barcelona during the four magic years.
It’s understood Messi and Guardiola could have reunited with City one of the clubs in contention to sign him before he went to PSG.
Both have continued to succeed in their nine years apart, however, Messi’s trophy haul since hasn’t been quite as impressive.
A couple of more trophies in the nine seasons since but it’s come at a much slower rate for Messi.
Guardiola has continued to rack up the silverware, winning 17 trophies in charge of Bayern Munich and City.
When the pair shake hands, and no doubt share an embrace on the Parc des Princes pitch, all the memories of the ultra glory days in Catalonia will come flooding back.
