Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are all reportedly set to renew their interest in Federico Chiesa this summer – but Juventus have no intention of selling him.
The £86million-rated Italian winger starred for Roberto Mancini’s side at Euro 2020, helping the Azzurri win the tournament with a series of stellar performances.
And according to Calcio Mercato, Massimiliano Allegri’s side have resolved not to let their prize asset leave.
Juventus have struggled in Serie A this season and currently lie in 12th in the table, having secured their first league win of the season with a comeback win against Spezia in which Chiesa scored.
His goal in that match, showcasing power, resilience, and composure, continued his fine form from last season and marks his as ‘the present and the future’ of a team aiming for former glories after the departure of star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
His form for club and country is understood to have led to serious interest from several European giants, with Chelsea reportedly willing to pay £86million in this summer’s transfer window to convince Juventus to sell.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and perennial Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the 23-year-old.
Chiesa is currently on loan at the Allianz Stadium from Fiorentina for the second season running, with Juventus reportedly ready to activate the £35m option to buy clause, with £8.5m in add-ons, and sign him on a permanent, three-year contract.
Therefore Chiesa, son of former Italy striker Enrico, appears to be going nowhere if his club has anything to say about it.
