Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has responded to ongoing reports that star midfielder Youri Tielemans will leave the King Power Stadium to move to Liverpool . Speculation around the player’s future has been rife in recent months.
Tielemans arrived at Leicester from Monaco two years ago in a deal worth a reported £40million, and has gone on to become a standout performer for Rodgers’ side.
The 24-year-old has played 113 games for the Foxes, racking up 18 goals and 19 assists.
He has also won 44 caps for Belgium and started four of his country’s five Euro 2020 games this summer.
Tielemans was linked with Liverpool last season, with reports also suggesting Manchester United are keen on the player along with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
“There’s no update really – I’m open to everything,” Tielemans said earlier this week.
