Olympique de Marseille have made their tenth signing of the season, clinching the Ligue 1 Uber Eats return of Amine Harit. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is on loan for one season from Schalke 04, without an option to buy. The Moroccan international (11 caps) had been playing in the Bundesliga since July 2017.
Born in Pontoise in the Paris region, the Franco-Moroccan played 102 Bundesliga games (12 goals by) in four seasons in Germany. In his first season (2017-18), he made his mark, being named Best Rookie (31 games, three goals and six assists). With Schalke 04 relegated to the second division as of a few weeks ago, Amine Harit has chosen OM for this new season. He will thus return to Ligue 1 Uber Eats, where he played 30 top-flight matches for Nantes after coming up through Les Canaris’ renowned youth system.
